Pyroflash Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 (edited) So, I got a new X-65F, but the problem is I can't seem to assign the right throttle handle to any axis. Please help. Edit: Okay, I probably should point out that I know it is a known issue and has been worked on for quite some time now. This post isn't to request any new features or anything, I was just wondering if there was a known workaround. I stress that I do not want to sound like another M31. If there is a solution, fine, if not, I can live without the dual throttles. It isn't really a game breaker to me. PowerBroker Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 (edited) We've got solution! Hi guys. Ala13_Kokakolo from official Rise of Flight forum has found a solution on how to enable second throttle in FC2. Here is his original post. Summarizing we need to change the value of just one registry key according to this: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\MediaProperties\PrivateProperties\Joystick\OEM\VID_06A3&PID_0B6A\Axes\6] @="Throttle 2" "Attributes"=hex:01,81,00,00,05,00,25,00 And this is original value (in case you'll need it): Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\MediaProperties\PrivateProperties\Joystick\OEM\VID_06A3&PID_0B6A\Axes\6] @="Throttle 2" "Attributes"=hex:01,81,00,00,01,00,36,00 You don't even need to restart the system. But it would be a good idea to close down your SST software and terminate execution of ProfilerU.exe file from Task Manager. After this simple thing is done you are ready to go. Start your sim, go to setups and assign JOY_SLIDER1 to the right throttle and JOY_Z to the left throttle. That's it! I tested it in Windows 7 x64 (without SP1) - no any problems occurred.
