Correct. I'm running my sims in a single 24' 1920x1200 (16:10) monitor. Is not perfect, but like the extra vertical pixels. If I could afford, I'll go with 3 of them, but they are expensive. Basically I was trying to expose my frustration with 16:9 aspect ratio for a simming platform.

Planning on using three 24" monitors in portrait. Will A10 display properly with this setup?( no mods to lua files?). I'd like to use a Radeon 6970 with 2 gig.

It seems yes, it will after adjustement.

I m am running DCS on a 16:9, FOV aint the problem, the problem is getting the damn details on the LCD (ingame) and trying to read labels on the panels (onbviously i don t have them on my head).

For that i think a greater 1 big (i m actually 22) screen flanked by 2 smaller "portrait" monitors maybe the best solution:

One big screen to read them all,

two portrait screen to find them,

One nice system to run them up

in high framerate and

with the A10C send opfor back where the Shadows lie.

:D (i tryed)

AMD Radeon EYEFINITY with 3 27" monitors is emersive and awesome.

This photo dosen't give proper justice, i had to tweak a few FOV and zoom settings to make it better.

I have 2 x HD6800 cards in crossfire, 2 x monitors in DVI and the third from a display port. You can get adapters that turn one display port into 1,2 or 3 x DVI outputs.

But in all honesty, why not go 3 x 46" flat-panels? 8P, thats my next upgrade

Hi, the option "3screen" via DLP projector is definitly the best way to experience A10 or K50 .

Here my setup : 3 wood plane paint white, 3 DLP projectors at 1024x768 reso each and a matrox triple head analog edition.

Video had 2 month ago. Now, better FPS at "3screen" option with new config (sandy bridge 2600K 4.8Ghz)

Here the video link: 2 video: one with "1screen" activate, et second one with "3screen" active.

Bye

PS best experience is "3screen" mode, but FPS eater (cpu charge a lot)

sorry for bad english writing...

Yours
