Assigning new key commands to AXIS control?

Is there a way to assign 'Zoom in slow' and Zoom out slow' to a controllers AXIS?

 

The AXIS control list doesnt seem to be editable in-game.

 

 

I dont use my joystick software for programming, too buggy and glitchy.

 

So come on people, enlighten me.

I can only say what I did.

 

On the Saitek X52 Pro, I had to assign the Num* and Num/ to the "wheel" on the Throttle Stick. ( Also found using a Macro helped to speed it up). The X52 programming interface is pretty straight forward, after a couple of tries.

 

I dont think you can put it on an axis, although I havn't tried!
