Nate--IRL-- Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 It should work, try assigning another control that makes operation obvious, like Turning on NVGs. It should be really clear then if it works or not. Nate Ka-50 AutoPilot/stabilisation system description and operation by IvanK- Essential Reading
RodBorza Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 I know that every pilot has its own HOTAS configuration and I believe I know what you 've been going trhough. I do have a very simple joystick and thorttle that I use for this game. It has all commands: hat for looking around; Crtl+hat for trimming; Shift+hat for slewing; Alt+hat for DMS and Win+ hat for TMS. In my own crazy way it works fine. However, the coolie hat is configured as the keyboard standard: H,J,K,U. After while its been easy to find and its been working fine. Just hold 'K', and then it is TGP as SOI, hold U for HUD, hold H for TAD and so on... Try to do it with the keyboard, I think it'll work and you won't have any problems. My 2 cents. This is an amazing sim! 'Nuff said!:pilotfly: YouTube: SloppyDog
