Key command changes from Beta: Autopilot Engage/Disengage?

Using my CH HOTAS profile, based on a key command file taken from the Beta, I can no longer engage/disengage autopilot from the assigned button. I'm wondering if the key assignment changed from Beta to release. I obviously need to alter my HOTAS profile but I just wanted to check with you guys; the key command for AP engage/disengage is listed in the command lists published in the sticky as:

1 = LAAP Engage/Disengage

Is this numpad 1, or keypad 1 please?

I appreciate the assist, being able to engage/disengage AP hands-on is a big asset to me.

It's just the HOTAS left throttle button, q. I've noticed a fair number of people that use the autopilot engage disengage NOT located on the real A-10C HOTAS. Whats the deal? I can imagine how this arises, you don't know that the left throttle button on the HOTAS is for autopilot unless you read the section starting on page 84 (it's the most important part of the manual, though). Then when looking through keystrokes, people find AP engage/disengage. Is that non-HOTAS button just a redundent button? Or does the AP engage disengage do something different or additional that the HOTAS left throttle button doesn't?

Intelligent discourse can only begin with the honest admission of your own fallibility.

I think they're the same, functionality wise. I have the TM Warthog HOTAS, and I use the button on the throttle as well as the button on the base pretty much interchangeably, just depending on whatever's convenient at the time or which button might be fun to press.

I use "q" to engage autopilot
