GBS Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 I'm a bit of a noob. I ordered the referenced stick because it seemed like the best for the money and I didn't want pedals. I got it for $150 versus some that were in the $500 price range. It may arrive today. When I install it into my computer will the game automatically sync certain commands to the various buttons and switches? I certainly hope so. Programing that thing looks a little daunting to me.
polygonpusher Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 I would recommend programming it. If you'd like I can send you my X-52 profile so you can see how you like it.
Heli Shed Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 To the OP: In short. Nope Use the SST software for some things, but my personal advice is to use the ingame options settings. However, there are some very usefull profiles out there. JackBaeur i think for one mapped all controls via SST software. In short. map what you need, not what you think you need. The ingame options mapping is fine for nearly all of it. I only have my speedbrakes mapped to SST. Happy to send you Profile. PM me your email.
