Hey guys...

Due to poor airflow in my PC it was always overheating, so I've opened the PC case and just run a standard house fan over the components...it's dropped all my temps by about 20oC and everything is nice and stable...My only worry is that I leave the PC case open all the time with the fan running..Could this cause any problems?

Cheers!

Only insofar as you spilling coffee on it, pretty much.

Sounds like you might want to do a more thorough cleaning of it though - compressed air through heatsink assemblies and so on.

Cheers ethereal! It's not that theyre clogged, its just that I dont have any case fans (they broke..) and as such airflow was nonexistent. Now my PC has a dedicated 14" fan blowing air over it. Ridiculous....but works xD
