StrongHarm Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 I'm impressed with the solution to the problem of repairing wrecked gear. Previously if you had wrecked gear, the rest of your aircraft would be repaired except for the gear. The new gear would appear and smash the ground, destroying it again. EDs solution was to jack the plane in the air (like a drop check), repair the gear, then drop the plane to the deck again. The impressive part is that they implemented maintenance panels opening! Bravo.. thanks for going above and beyond! It's a good thing that this is Early Access and we've all volunteered to help test and enhance this work in progress... despite the frustrations inherent in the task with even the simplest of software... otherwise people might not understand that this incredibly complex unfinished module is unfinished. /light-hearted sarcasm
El_Roto Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 Not only that, but it appears every maintainance guy is a very heavy cigar smoker! ;) -or- Why animate a ground crew when you can hide them in a smoke screen? :D Seriously, this is a very nice addition to the sim! Good catch.
