My MS FFB2 works fine in both sims, but it will not work in FC2 after I have flown DCS:WH, unless I restart my computer. At first, I just gave in and restarted the computer each time I wanted to fly FC2, but it is starting to get extremely irritating.

After I have flown DCS:WH, I have no stick trimmer force and none of the buttons work in FC2, but the joystick works fine in other games.

Does anyone else with a FFB2 have this issue, or does anyone know what would cause this issue?

Reset it in the Windows Control Panel... Fairly sure you can do it.

On Windows 7- Start>Control Panel>View Devices and Printers>Microsoft Force Feedback 2>Game Controller Settings (Right Click)>Properties>Settings>

From here, try to set it back to default, or try to calibrate it.

If it doesn't get results, I'm stumped.

Good Luck! :)

This worked! (Setting it back to default) Thanks for the tip.

Hi guys,

I too have a problem with my MSFF2. Somehow my throttle is inverted in the Windows 7 registry files (?). This has an effect on how I want to play BS.

I tried the Clear Calibration Utility, and took a hard look at the registry itself, but the numbers confuse me. Also, in the configuration setting, the slider goes from max to 0 (when I slide from down to up), while it should be the other way around.

In the DirectXTweak program, I can see both Raw data and DirectInput data are reversed, but I cannot change it back somehow. It is not hardware related, since it does work on an older Windows XP computer.

Does anyone have a clue on how to change the slider back to normal? Maybe by tweaking the registry files?

Please let me know!

Kind regards,
