lobo Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 1) Left the airplane alone for about 45 min. Auto-pilot off. Left it in a nose high stalled condition. Expected it to crash within a few minutes. The aircraft proved quite quite stable both statically and dynamically. Eventually entering a hands off, gentle, climbing turn. I suppose based on the wing design this should not have been a surprise. 2) Climb above FL260. Now maybe you all have seen this but for the first time I noticed twin jet engine contrails being produced by my A-10. Descended below 26,000' and contrails stopped. Not wingtip vortices but engine contrails! Impressed. Lobo's DCS A-10C Normal Checklist & Quick Reference Handbook current version 8D available here: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/172905/
