ErichVon Posted April 19, 2011 Author Posted April 19, 2011 Yes- it's because your messing with things without knowing what you're doing. Trying to program buttons using both DCS and control manager is likely to lead to multiple conflicts. You go ahead and do it your way... Hi Kon, I figured it out and I use your supplied controller print-outs. It was quite a process to figure it out. DCS pre-maps the CH controllers. So, that all had to be cleared in OPTIONS. And before that, as Tev suggested, under "Saved Games" the joystick folder had to be emptied / cleared out. I use the CH Control Manager and your profile you supplied me. I did not have to figure out how to use the CH Control Manager finer aspects, just the basic moves. I use your exact profile, I just tuned the axis some. Pedals I tuned both in the CH Control Manager and also in the OPTIONS setup area not to be so sensitive steering. Shifted mode, Fighterstick pinky switch works just fine on the "dual" mappings. I've been using the same setup in GAME mode and also in full SIM mode for about a month. Actually, your setup is very useful using the in game training tutorials. Thank you, Erich :pilotfly:
S77th-konkussion Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 Sure man. Getting started with all new gear can be a load... Same thing happened to me when I ditched Saitek for CH. Major frustration for a couple weeks or more. [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=43337&d=1287169113[/sIGPIC]
jeffyd123 Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 so you are saying that one should not assign their CH stick in game and do everything in the CH software? i7 8700K @ 4.4Ghz, 16G 3200 RAM, Nvidia 1080Ti, T16000 HOTAS, TIR5, 75" DLP Monitor
S77th-konkussion Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 Everything except the axis- yes. Assign axis in DCS. [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=43337&d=1287169113[/sIGPIC]
