How do we enable / adjust HDR ?

At this moment all those options and hdr are only in DCS:A-10C, tho there is an old hdr mod out there for blackshark and fc2.

My report about it is :

 

Playing around a little with crazysundog's straight forward installation Modman package ENB 2.1 : ( http://www.mediafire.com/?2kmqyczn4zw )

 

- 2.0 file is no longer downloadable

- 2.1 is the yellowish version of 2.0. Tint easily removed by deleting the enbpallete.bmp

- changing the path of d3d9.dll to bin\x86\stable (from bin\stable, package is originaly made for BS) makes the mod work with FC2

- during flight Shift-F12 toggles activation of mod

 

crazysundog's settings are nice (enbseries.ini, you can play with them). The yellow version makes FC2 even more cinematographic / dramatic. I was impressed to notice a slight depth of field effect too

 

I didn't notice an fps drop that could be felt. (Didnt bother check the actual numbers though)

 

 

 

Trivia: it all derives from a russian programmer who created a universal (with adaptations) HDR-like mod for many unrelated games (mainly Grand Theft Auto) calling it ENB series (if i am right). It is not actual HDR, rather a simulation of some of HDR characteristics.
