Saitek X52 no X axis input

Hey guys,

 

I've got a Saitek X52 that I've had for a few months. I've done the magnet mod, so the warranty is voided.

 

Question I have is if I use my rudder at all, my roll axis (X-axis, left and right motion) will not register. It was noticable before the magnet mod, better after, but now I have no X-axis at all. Has anyone seen this? Google searches turn up naught.

 

What I'm thinking of doing (since I voided my warranty already) is taking the stick the rest of the way apart around the base and checking for cold solders or what have you...any other suggestions? I already checked the magnets and they're still in place.

 

Or, if anyone has an X52 stick they want to offload cheap, let me know :D

I fixed it wooooo! Took it apart and cleaned some stuff, reseated some connections, threw it back together and it worked!
