Flaming Cliffs 2 doesn't work in W7

Hello. I've a problem with Flaming Cliffs 2 in my Windows 7 (32 bits). I run FC2, then I arrive to main menu, but when I choose anything it freezes. I've tried to run FC2 with console and I can see this:

 

So I think that the problem is in simulator.exe, using my windows process manager I can see that simulator.exe is running, but doing nothing.

 

Any idea??? Thanks!!

 

Nstes: I'm using v1.2.1, with 1.0 it works without problems.

OT: how it is possible to start FC2 on console ?

 

i have the behaviour under W7(64) too

the simulator.exe is running, but it seems that this application sleeps.

i have any freezes. the simulator continues after ~30sec delay time ...

and is running very well.

I don't have FC2 ... so just guessing.

 

Try changing the o/s compatibility on the executable's properties tab and check the 'Run as Administrator' box. Maybe these settings will help.
