I have a pretty annoying problem.

Every time I have an ILS, or TACAN tuned, I get the identifier sound and I'm not able to switch it of.

Turning down the volume knob at the receiver doesn't work and deselecting it from the audio panel doesn't work either. It keeps beeping the whole time.

Any ideas?

I'm on 1.1.0.7, Win7 64Bit

This is being discussed in this thread. My understanding is the ILS identifier tones cannot be turned down or off. The audio panel button labeled ILS only effects the marker beacon tones, but only if the ILS receiver is tuned in and turned on.

If the ILS receiver is on and tuned you'll get the ID tones and the marker beacon tones--the marker beacon tones only if the audio panel ILS button is on and turned up. With the ILS receiver off or detuned you'll get nothing. *whew*

This is a little off. But, look at all that's right on!

Update RE: the tacan. There's a little volume knob on the tacan receiver that controls the tacan ID volume. It works perfectly.

@Scratchy:

Must have overlooked the thread, or just entered the wrong keywords. Thank you for pointing it out!

I'll try the TACAN volume control again, maybe it was only the ILS, I had both tuned at the same time and played around with the audio selector buttons.
