Can't start FC2

Your drivers are VERY old.

Start by updating Ati graphics drivers and move to motherboard ones.

Said that, your system is a bit weak, I wouldn't expect great perfomance.

I don't have an ATI card, but I don't think those are the latest ones even for old HD 24XX series. Ati AI option turned off helps with sp menu issues too, with old drivers afaik.

Ensure Catalyst AI is turned off, as a start. You could also try manually installing version 12.8 of the Catalyst suite, but I want to double-check that it actually supports that card first.

I'm digging for some more detailed information about the card, but the preliminary information isn't making me very hopeful I'm afraid. I'll update as soon as I have some more information.

Yup, 8.12 should support that card.

IMPORTANT NOTE: ENSURE THAT YOU NAVIGATE TO THE CORRECT VERSION FOR YOUR OPERATING SYSTEM

That link is Vista64, you'll have to select Vista32 if your OS is 32-bit.

That said: I am afraid I don't expect it to be very playable with that card. It is about as budget as they go and really only meant to play youtube videos and such. The good news there though is that this means getting something better is not a great expense. You don't even really need to go above 1000 SEK. Some extra information about the motherboard and PSU would be required for an adequate selection though.

I'm not really used to navigate through Ati website, but the latest ones, 11.3, seem to support HD24XX too. Dunno if being so new are worse than those 8.12 for such an old videocard. For vista 32 would be:

The issue is mainly that I worry about it being affected by the OpenGL driver bug in later versions, that used to affect x19XX and it's siblings/derivatives. 8.12 are the "failsafe" drivers for older ATi cards, pretty much, at least as far as OpenGL applications like launcher.exe goes. If the fully latest drivers do work that's great though. :)
