Sinky Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Would you say there is any point in using the gun on a tank when there is a moderate level of turbulence? I've practised and it is possible to take them out but since your not rock steady it takes considerably more ammunition sometimes it may take two passes. Any other target is a breeze providing you've trained in the turbulence since most other targets take a couple of hits to be destroyed so being steady is not crucial. Would be nice to hear others opinions. Teriander Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 I've never had a problem taking out the tanks because of turbulence. The most I've been effected by is drifting or yawing from either low speeds or weight. But turbulence never kept me from making a tank kill with guns. Maybe I've just been lucky?
Sinky Posted April 30, 2011 Author Posted April 30, 2011 How much turbulence though? The last practise I flew was at a value of 17.
