I have completed a few A-10 campaign missions in LockOn, but my only acknowledgement I have for completion is the JTAC telling me that I'm cleared to leave the area. The mission doesn't actually end and I can still fly on if I want to - or possibly still die due to AAA in the area. Am I supposed to quit the mission manually(the success still counds) or do I have to make an appropriate landing before the mission automatically ends?

And hit the quit button on the dialog box that pops up? There's no special indicator that I'm quitting for a complete mission versus an incomplete one which is a little less than satisfying.

I was going to post on this very issue myself. I agree with EbonySeraphim that mission progress/completion feedback would be appreciated. It would be good to get at least a "Mission Complete" after one lands and exits the simulation. At present there is absolutely no compelling reason for a player to actually land the plane after completing the mission objectives beyond that which we impose upon ourselves.

I'm frustrated with the AGM target designator - to date, it has NEVER worked for me - I have only been able to kill ground. So, I will only fly an F-15 or a Russian fighter now and then - ground attack is a waist in my eyes. If I have to contort my hands just to try and get the missile to lock, it takes some of the fun out of the sim.
