I have a weird problem with my FC2 install.

After i switched from a wide screen LCD screen back to a 15 inch LCD screen cause i had to sell it the screen doesnt fit anymore when i play the game.

-When i enter single player modus the menu looks good and vids well into my small 15" screen.

-But when i start the game and when it loads up i only see 40% of the screen. Everything els falls outside of the screen. So i am unable to click or see anything from that part f the loading screen.

-Once its loaded and i am in the cockpit it does exatly the same. I only see a part of my screen. This time like 60%

-When entering the multiplayer menu i also see only 40% of the menu. So i cant play MP cause the buttons to start are displayed outside of my screen.

This is what i did:

-Changed resolution

-Changed aspect ratio

-Changed graphics.cfg (But dont know if i did it right)

-Changed to full screen (made my FC2 crash back to menu)

-Reinstalled video driver

All with no effect.

I didn't try a full reinstall of flaming cliffs cause than i have to go search trough all my stuff that is located at my parents house.

I think i did almost everything. But i have no solution myself and there are no solutions on this forum or any others i have searched on.

P.S. I have no problems playing DCS with this small screen. Everything fits on there.

Could you upload a copy of your graphics.cfg here? As well as a dxdiag.

Not everything fitted from DXdiag.

And i also forgot to tell that the game works fine. I can fly around and stuff and even turn my head to see what is outside the screen. But the screen still shows 60% all the time.

You can upload the files in their entirety through pressing "Go Advanced" and using the paperclip icon. You may have to zip them for the server to accept the file types though.

Could you add options.lua?

This are the options.lua i could find and graphics.cfg. I dont know if they come out of the right folder.

Also when i compare the DCS A-10C graphics.cfg with the FC 2 one i see that the resolution is different.

EDIT: On DCS A-10C the resolution is: 800, 600 On FC 2 and all the previous installed products from ED when i still had my wide screen it say's 1024, 768.

I changed the FC 2 to match the DCS 10C. But that did not help.

The game doesn't seem to notice any changes in graphics.cfg when i edit it. But when i delete that file FC 2 crashes at startup..

Yes, your Options.lua looks wrong. Here's what's in it:

-- @Eagle Dynamics (C)
-- @author Ilja A.Belov

local i18n 	   = require("i18n")
local inputEventsPath = i18n.getLocalizedFileName('scripts/input/inputevents.lua');

dofile('scripts/input/tableUtils.lua')
dofile('scripts/input/layout.lua')
dofile(inputEventsPath)
dofile('scripts/input/aircrafts.lua')
dofile('scripts/Serialization.lua')

backEventTable = {}
for name, event in pairs(inputEvents) do
 backEventTable[event] = name
end

function getKeyName(key)
 if backEventTable[key] then
   return backEventTable[key]
 else
   --trace('cannot find key name. key is:' .. key)
 end
 return ''
end

function getKeyAction(key)
 return inputEvents[key] or 0
end

It should contain something like this:

options =

Did you pick yours up from C:\Games\FC2\BlackShark\data\scripts\options.lua? That is the correct path, and that is where the "real" settings happen. Graphics.cfg is legacy code.
