azincourt Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Hi All Can someone enlighten me on why, when I ask my wingman to do something (singleplayer), he/she doesn't respond? Thanks
lanmancz Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Are you on a correct frequency and using correct radio ? My wingmans respond normally. Frequencies are always specified in briefing. azincourt Posted May 25, 2011 Author Posted May 25, 2011 hi,i'll check but as I can hear him, I guessed it must be on the right freq. :)
lanmancz Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Then maybe youre not calling him with the right radio - you got 3 of them in A10. Maybe one of them is on a correct frequency (so you can hear him) but youre trying to call him with a different one (set to other frequency - like JTAC or ATC) so hes not responding. Make sure youre using the correct one to call him. azincourt Posted May 25, 2011 Author Posted May 25, 2011 I use LAlt and num + to call the base, Lshift and num + to call JTAC. which one should i use to call the wingman?
lanmancz Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 (edited) There are 3 radios - VHF AM, VHF FM and UHF, flight is usually on UHF so use that one. It should be specified in briefing which one to use to call your wingman. you can check the manual - pages 137,139 and 141 Edited May 25, 2011 by lanmancz [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Gigabyte Aorus Z390 Elite, Intel i9 9900K, Fractal Design Kelvin S36, Zotac GTX 1070 8GB AMP Extreme, 32GB DDR4 HyperX CL15 Predator Series @ 3000 MHz, Kingston SSD 240GB (OS), Samsung 970 EVO 1TB M.2 NVMe (sim), Fractal Design Define R5 Black Window, EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G2, Win 10 Home x64, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS, Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals, Thrustmaster MFD Cougar Pack, TrackIR (DelanClip), 3x 27" BenQ EW2740L, Oculus Rift S
azincourt Posted May 25, 2011 Author Posted May 25, 2011 Which keyboard shortcut do use for UHF? is it "\" ?
lanmancz Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 UHF radio is MIC SWITCH DOWN (check your hotas settings) - i dont know which key is that since I reconfigured all default key mappings to fit my stick and throttle. 1 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Gigabyte Aorus Z390 Elite, Intel i9 9900K, Fractal Design Kelvin S36, Zotac GTX 1070 8GB AMP Extreme, 32GB DDR4 HyperX CL15 Predator Series @ 3000 MHz, Kingston SSD 240GB (OS), Samsung 970 EVO 1TB M.2 NVMe (sim), Fractal Design Define R5 Black Window, EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G2, Win 10 Home x64, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS, Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals, Thrustmaster MFD Cougar Pack, TrackIR (DelanClip), 3x 27" BenQ EW2740L, Oculus Rift S
