Rockets won't fire

Hello,

 

I'm trying to complete the training mission for the gun and unguided rockets. I've followed the directions and I have my rockets armed and ready to fire, and I'm in CCIP mode, but when I press the weapon release button nothing happens. I can fire the cannon fine, but not the rockets.

 

Also, the instructions keep getting stuck at the point where the instructor tells you to deactivate 2 of the 4 rocket stations to save some rockets for a second pass. I click the two highlighted buttons and deactivate them, but the instructions hang there and the buttons stay highlighted. I'm not sure if this is why the rockets won't fire?

Post a track for us to look at, way to many things could have gone wrong to start guessing

When you say weapon release button, are you sure you're pressing weapon release and not trigger? They are not the same. (Common mistake.)

Yep, that's the first thing I checked. I double checked the mission's instructions and looked at the manual and as far as I can tell I have the aircraft set up correctly to fire rockets. I'll work on getting a track

Hi Encaintya, welcome to the Forums.

 

Would you please have a look at page 524 of your Flight Manual and tell me if the picture there is just like the one you are seeing when you try to fire rockets?
