Don't ask me if it will fit other CPU's. You do the research. But if you want it and live in the USA its yours. You just need to pay the shipping. USPS flat rate box. Which is pretty cheap. bumfire Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 Umm, not sure, but if your cpu dies on you, the retailer or intel may ask you to ship everything back to them in order to get a replacement. I have seen some companies ask for everything back before a swap, box/heatsink/cpu/cpu plastic case and other companies just asking for the cpu. So unless you are willing to just buy a new cpu if it dies without trying the rma route, I would keep hold of the heatsink just incase. Thats what I keep my 930 one for, as knowing my luck they wouldnt rma it without it. Just a heads up is all.
