jermin Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 I am currently using MSFF2 and X45 throttle as a mixed HOTAS configuration. I'm wondering what is the easiest way to have as many buttons as possible on the HOTAS for FC2.0. Although I have SST programming software installed, the X45 profiles on the web are not suitable for me. I have just read about switchers in the manual and thought it may be a good solution to use 2 positions of the 3-position AUX switch to act as switchers. But after I started mapping keys, I found some problems. I originally wanted to map the "default" buttons on X45 throttle to normal flight controls and the "switched" buttons to combat controls. But I realized that if I used switchers, I could have the buttons on MSFF2 switched. But I only want the buttons on X45 throttle to be switched. And will switchers also switch axis? Anyone is using a controller set like me, how do you solve this problem? About the cockpit view, can I have several zoom levels set to different buttons just like in IL2? Or I have to use rotary to zoom in and out smoothly?
