acerus77 Posted June 5, 2011 Posted June 5, 2011 (edited) I made a complete new installation with the 1.1.0.8. Full Installer and since then i have random Freezes. What happens is that the Game freezes for 10 seconds then the Screen becomes black and one Texture after another the Screen comes back alive and everything is fine and working again. I had this issue in one of the Beta-Releases but since then never experienced it again... till now. I would guess this is because of my Graphiccard (HD4850 - 512MB)? Apart from this issue it runs smooth. My System: Q6600 @ 2,4 Ghz, HD4850 (Catalyst 11.5), 4 GB Ram, Vista 7 64bit Game Settings: Textures: High, Scenes: Medium, Civ Traffic: off, Water: Low, Visib Range: Medium, Heat Blur: off, Shadows: High, Resolution: 1920x1200, Res. of Cockpit Displays: 512, MSAA: 2x, Clutter: off. HDR and TSAA: off. Cockpitshadows:on V-sync:off The Freezes happen randomly...sometimes after 5 minutes and another time after 1 Hour Gameplay. Hope it will stay that way.
