Simple JTAC Training Misson

Anybody have a simple JTAC mission I can use for Training? Tried to use Iceman's for a few days without success and I just checked back to that thread and found out it was broken?

Here's a simple one.

You might want to edit it to remove the fog. I added it to add some difficulty. Otherwise, pretty easy: 3 target groups and no AAA.

Hi Rocky,

never heard about that problem.

What exactly is happening? Can't you start the application or can't you connect to the master server of ED or is the server-list empty?

 

Maybe you have to open the ports 10308 for TCP and UDP in your router.

I had to force MS Defender to allow the server to run....I read more of training thread and see that there is no radio communication to ATC ? Also some problem with response from Jtac? so how can I fly this training mission.

That problems only affect the clients.

If you start the server by yourselfe you should not have any problems.

The only difference of JTAC between MP and SP is, that the JTAC in MP can't send you a datalink into the TAD.

You have to enter the UTM coordinates into the CDU to add a new waypoint.

Did you give my mission a try? It's single player, so you won't have any issues like what I'm reading in this thread. Also, my mission sends data, so that's a plus ;)

 

If you'd like one without the fog and don't feel comfortable editing, let me know; i'll fix it up. Actually, if there's anything you'd like in the mission to help you practice this excellent simulator, let me know.

Hi Rocky, if you try to start mission on server Lan multiplayer you should not have any problems.

 

Ok you have to start Multiplayer > Insert your user password > Lan > open mission > start.

 

I played this mission several times and i had not problems.

Hi calys,

I don't play SP so I don't know exactly hat happend in SP.

I know that the JTAC in MP is buggy.

For server host sometimes the JTAC will send you a datalink, sometimes not and you have to enter the UTM coordinates.

For clients sometimes the JTAC is not answering and I never saw that he is sending a datalink into the TAD.

 

I hope this will be fixed in v1.1.0.9
