dooom Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Hiya, I am thinking of utilizing touchbuddy to create a UFC panel for a10-c. Recognizing that both Helios and Hawgtouch both offer faster development and cleaner options, I remain concerned with their .export integration and the integrity check fails I'd expect to ensue on multiplayer servers. Touchbuddy should allow me to use my touchscreen peripheral in a multiplayer server no problem. That said, - what is the interest level out there for a touchbuddy UFC? I will be making it for my 10" iMo Monster USB display and will likely have some real-estate below for additional buttons. I want to keep it simple so the other pages will likely be PDF readers associated to checklists and aircharts. dooom Posted June 16, 2011 Author Posted June 16, 2011 ... it seems i might be wrong about HELIOS and Hawgtouch relying upon a lua export. You can do the same with Helios... just have to stick to Keyboard actions instead of the built in FC2/DCS integration. You can't use gauges though. can someone confirm. Using HELIOS for UFC and simple button keypresses (like radio etc) will not fail MP integrity? Just create a profile and do not add the DCS A-10C interface. Just drag and drop buttons and bind them to keyboard send actions. This is the exact same thing as touch buddy once you remove the DCS A-10C interface from the profile. Keep in mind the profile other people have posted are bound to the DCS A-10C Interface so you'll have to rebind to keyboard commands, but the graphics and layouts will work.
