Hi all

Working on understanding the CDI.

At the moment, by default, in a flight plan, the Course Knob has no impact on the CDI, unlike if using a TCN as the navpoint, or WP0, the course deviation is based on the difference between the CI and the navpoint bearing. Is there a way to slave the CDI to the CI, for a normal SP (As default, the CDI is slaved to the pre-programmed Flightplan course between the current SP, and the previous WP.)

Cheers.

Cheers Slacker, your a gem!

Too late now to try it, will do it tomorrow.

Edit, could'nt wait...

Works a treat, for waypoints, now need to try it for flight plans.

Hassata,

Not sorted on this one yet.

what ive found.

1. Default mode for flight plan is TO-TO.

2. In Mission mode, All WP's default to TO FROM

3. Changing STEER ATTRIBUTES from the NAV-ATTRIBUTES page has no impact in any of the AAP Steerpoint DIAL modes.

4. Waypoint attributes can be changed 1 by 1 with CDU WP -WAYPOINT pages, but changes have no impact in FLTPLN mode.

So I still cannot see how to (from the pit)

1. Change the ATTRIBUTES for the full flightplan so they impact in FLTPLN mode.

2. Change the ATTRIBUTES for a WP, so its impact is seen in FLTPLN mode.

Would welcome any clarity on this.
