cichlidfan Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 Hi all, I saw the thread about units dispersing under fire. I had noticed as well. What I did not realize until yesterday is that if they were enroute to a waypoint and one gets hit, after a while, the other units will return to the, in my case, road and continue on. I don't know how long they wait exactly. The way it went was... Three units going down the road. Hit one with a mav (everyone scatters), swung around and got the second...off the road just sitting there. As I was going by I got the TGP on the third unit, still sitting there. When I get back...he's gone. Start looking around and he's off a mile down the road just moving along. It was actually pretty cool when I finally found him. I guess it could have been a fluke since I have only seen it once and have not tried it again yet. Just thought I would mention it. cichlidfan Posted July 12, 2011 Author Posted July 12, 2011 I've seen it a few times as well. I think that's their default behavior. I was hoping it was a default behavior. What I would also like to know is if anyone knows what the wait until resume time is, is it a constant? It would also be useful, perhaps, if dispersal sets a flag of some kind? I guess there is probably something for unit killed or taking fire that would accomplish the same though. I just started messing with the ME so I am just guessing that something in this might be useful later.
