Hi one anoying little thing that I have come across several times is that at some point during the mission I am no longer able to communicate with my flight. At first I assumed I had sustained some damage which had disabled my uhf radio, however in my latest flight I deliberatly stayed out of trouble and controlled my flight, assigning them each targets. At some point during the mission I could no longer get the 'flight' radio menu to come up. However I could still hear the other members of the flight spotting targets and calling out bandits etc.

Is this a known bug? or is more investigation needed?

Cheers

Tom

What menu were you able to get up? There's some situations like talking to JTAC when the menu will default to a submenu. You can usually use one of the other mic switch positions to get the full menu, then while that's up use the mic switch you wanted to switch radio while keeping that menu. Some say you can use tab or backspace or something along those lines to get back to the top-level menu, too.

If you are at the top-level menu and it's just not letting you open the flight menu, then... could be a bug. Or maybe all your wingmen killed themselves. If you could post a track after it happens that might help.

The top level menu, it could be related to comunicating with the JTAC as it happened after getting the 'no more tasking available message.' But that was on AM not the UHF FM radio which was what I was using to communicate with the flight.
