Map Pins for the ME

This occured to me while cruising around the map. If I see an iteresting land feature or structure and want to make note of it I can drop a mark point and keep a written record for offline use, in Excel or something.

 

What would be handy would be have a way to mark them on the map and save them (just save a map mission with the info in it) for later reference. The data transfer being done by hand, not as a function of the application.

 

It is doable, of course, using units as markers but if you had a pin marker with just name, location and notes tied to it, that would be really handy.

 

It could also be useful for attaching notes to the map during mission design or possibly even to enhance briefing maps.

 

Of course, I am definately more interested in getting the existing features functioning correctly first but...:P
