A very quick 3 mission mini campaign I threw together to orientate myself with the editor.

Operation Trident

 

 

The world was taken by surprise June 13th when rebel forces stormed the city administrative offices of TSHINVALI in a coup d'etat aimed at unseating any remenants of Georgian affiliation.

 

The Georgian province, which has enjoyed de facto independance since the 1990s, promplty declared a "wholly and complete" liberation from Tbilisi economic incompetance and Western greed. An interim military government was declared with rebel leader Gen. Sergei Dzugashvili at its head directing talks with the Russian officials for rapid adoption into the Federations fold.

 

A 14 day cease-fire was negotiated between NATO and rebel forces as diplomatic efforts ensued to prevent an escalation of the conflict. Investigations into the coup d'etat by the U.N. uncovered dramatic tales of ethnic crimes in the Roki valley as thousands of Georgians were forced from their homes upon refusing citizenship of the new dictatorship.

 

Evidence exists that the entire villages of Shua Thsviri, Tsiara, Klarsi & Tsru have been murdered on the direct orders of General Dzugashvili.

 

On this information, the UN Security council has passed resolution 775 calling for the General's indictment by the International Criminal Tribunal. Resolution 776 has promptly ordered the rapid withdrawal of Dzugashvili's forces from the state and empowered a US led coalition to use "all necessary means" to force the rebels from power after the June 27th deadline.

 

It is understood that Russia is both surprised and embarassed by Gen. Dzugashvili's actions. Our Western coalition believes we must act

swiftly to restore the status quo whilst Moscow contemplates their relationship with the "new" controversial Tskhinvali dictatorship.

 

We anticipate we have three days.... that is 3 lucky days in the seat, before Russia will commit air assets in a spin to protect the people.

 

It is now 1:01 AM June 28th. Dzugashvili has not wavered. Welcome to Operation Trident, Captain...
