ZoomBoy27 Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 Does Black Shark 1.0.2 have a Bullseye system? - I do not see it in the GUI manual Can one be entered in the ABRIS system? I'm creating a mission where the Pilot is given locations of moving troops that he is to hunt down I can use the Longitude/Latitude method (in conjunction with the ERBL functions) but having a bullseye is easier ZoomBoy My Flight Sims Page - Link to My Blog - Sims and Things - DCS Stuff++ - Up-to-Speed Guides to the old Lockon A10A and Su-25T - Some missions [needs update]
slug88 Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 No, bullseye was introduced with DCS:WH. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
ZoomBoy27 Posted August 20, 2011 Author Posted August 20, 2011 Found a work-around for a Bullseye I was flying the =4c= multiplayer server, they had Operation Snakehead loaded And they just declatred Waypoint 3 as the Bullseye If I throw in some lines in the ABRIS - we would have a pretty solid Bullseye reference point ZoomBoy My Flight Sims Page - Link to My Blog - Sims and Things - DCS Stuff++ - Up-to-Speed Guides to the old Lockon A10A and Su-25T - Some missions [needs update]
nemises Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 sure, bullseye is easy in the KA50.. As above, designate a steerpoint as Bullseye (arbitrary, as long as everyone is using the same point). Either your Abris or the PVI to that point, and hey presto... Instant bearing and range info that can very easily (in the case of the PVI) be converted into bullseye co-ords (clue, use the ADI / reciprocal of heading bug + range reading) also, search for Aero's "Bullseye" tutorial on youtube...its for FC2/LOCKON, but is exactly the same in DCS (except for teh names of the instruments involved) never mind, I did it for you :):
