Are there different modes for HUD in multiplayer servers? For instance I cannot set a SPI or I dont get the tadpole, and I do not have any waypoint navigation cues only little hash marks below compass heading.

Second if a wingman is lasing a target..If I switch TGP to LSS it finds laser..But do I have to set a SPI from TGP to drop a GBU in CCRP mode?

No, the HUD isn't different in multiplayer. It sounds like you haven't switched the navigation system to use your EGI instead of the old HARS (which is now just a fallback). Maybe review your startup procedure. After the EGI is fully aligned (i.e. the text saying it's aligned is flashing), hit the NAV button to set it to navigation mode rather than align, then press the EGI button on the panel in front of the stick, below the HSI.

For CCRP, yes you always need to set your SPI so your system will direct you to the correct release point. If you're dropping inertially guided munitions (GBU-31/38) then your SPI is also the point they'll be programmed to hit. For the laser-guided bombs, you can technically release them from any point where they'll be able to pick up the laser reflection, but it's still a good idea to make your SPI as close a match to the desired impact point as you can.

if I lase a target for my buddy, I usually broadcast my SPI which is at or close to the target such that he can pick it up abd knows roughly where I am lasing. He then has already a SPI for the roll- in. dunno whether this is THE correct procedure - it works fine though.

I had a similar sounding issue where various info from my HUD would disappear. This was completely unrelated to any button pushes in game and turned out to be a graphics issue. It can be fixed by ctrl alt del (in windows 7) to the task manager select screen, and then hitting cancel to maximize the game again. This seems to reload the graphics and the numbers on the HUD will reappear. I'm unsure if this is the issue you are having but if so hope this method helps you too
