EtherealN Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Please kill and burninate Catalyst AI. Then launch it into the sun. (Well, okey, I'm not 100% sure that this is it, but it smells similar to issues that CAI has caused and is a good place to start.) The Pointer is not visible, but i can move around in menu with clicking around. Sometimes, when i am lucky i can hover over an button, it highlights, and its clickable, but no visible Pointer! cichlidfan Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 FYI, I have found literally dozens of games that exhibit this behavior with regard to mouse trails being enabled. I seem to recall starting to see it on XP, but I never used XP as a gaming platform much, but with Win 7 it is a frequent gotcha. ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Hero, i7-6700K, Noctua NH-D14 Cooler, Crucial 32GB DDR4 2133, Samsung 950 Pro NVMe 256GB, Samsung EVO 250GB & 500GB SSD, 2TB Caviar Black, Zotac GTX 1080 AMP! Extreme 8GB, Corsair HX1000i, Phillips BDM4065UC 40" 4k monitor, VX2258 TouchScreen, TIR 5 w/ProClip, TM Warthog, VKB Gladiator Pro, Saitek X56, et. al., MFG Crosswind Pedals #1199, VolairSim Pit, Rift CV1
Zoandar Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 Hey, thanks guys! You just solved the same problem for me!! I had just installed DCS A-10C and turned on full screen on my Matrox TripleHead Digital setup, and had no mouse pointer, in Win7x64 Home Premium. I knew I had pointer trails turned on. So I turned them off when I read this, and now my mouse pointer works! Thanks!
