How is your performance compared to your previous cpu? Guest EVIL-SCOTSMAN Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 ya i have to use procaff for multiplayer, singleplayer it works ok but when i try multi i get 1/2 fps , but apart from that its all good.... dont expect a magical frame rate with your rig, i went from the other rig in my sig to this one and there isnt that much of a difference, apparently its the game thats just coded badly and not optimized for dualcore....

Tips/tricks? How do you set up your SLI for Lomac/FC? Do you see much of a performance increase from single card to dual card? I do hope the DEV team are able to see that next gen hardware(built for the future) that lockon was so called built for is not really compatible or does not increase performance. Guest EVIL-SCOTSMAN Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 the link for procaff is http://www.stefan-kuhr.de/procaff/main.php3 and as for sli, i cant get it to work with lomac so i have to turn it off :( i keep getting black screen while trying to load the missions when using procaff you can turn every setting up high, and you will get decent fps, but still when flyin over cities it will still jump to 20fps and maybe a little bit lower, with vstink on i get roughly a steady 60-75, 75 = refresh rate of my monitor, with vstink off i get 100+ but that will instantly jump to 60 - 70ish when in cockpit...
