Ranger79 Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 Who is the head moderator on these forums? Also, is there anything besides "volunteers" for support issues for technical issues with the DCS series of games? I know you can submit a support ticket, but did not know if this is answered by volunteers or paid IT professionals employed by ED. I recently lost my wingman to lack of support for DCS-A10c, and honestly I am getting pretty pissed about some of the rude and cocky answers I read by some mods for support issues. I believe about 50% of sales for this game come from user posted videos and people asking what is that game on youtube. Rules regarding politics should apply to all personnel on the forums not just users. Eddie Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 Groove is the community manager. http://forums.eagle.ru/member.php?u=4015 Support tickets are answered by the ED team.

EtherealN Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 If you have specific complaints about how you or others have been treated by moderators, please consider forwarding them to a Community Manager. Groove and/or Evil-Bivol1 would be your contacts. If we mods have done something wrong, they'll discipline us or institute any changes in policy that they deem required. Note that ED Testers are not moderators; when they post, they post in the same capacity as any other member, though they carry a bit more prestige through their title and of course can often be relied on to have a more intimate knowledge of the product and matters relating to it than the "regular joe". If you find any post objectionable, please use the report post function and it will be reviewed. Ranger79 Posted September 18, 2011 Author Posted September 18, 2011 Does this apply to PMs sent from mods to members? EtherealN Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 Yes. EDIT: If you want, you can also CC any mod you see online at the time, that is not the mod you wish to lodge a complaint against. Not strictly necessary, but might expedite the handling of your complaint.
