box version patching

Hi all, despite having brought the download version when it was a beta, I have been unable to use since losing my details of log in etc. I tried many times to get some help from eagle dynamics but it never happened . Anyway decided to buy the box version to avoid further future problems, created this new forum account and here I am again after 9 months absence.

 

My question is: Which patches does the english (brought on Play.com) version need? I downloaded the 1.1.0.6 patch, it being the first one I could see, but it says I need version 1.1.0.5. But there is no 1.1.0.5 patch that I can see. And what version is the boxed game?

PS, On a good note, the game installed and started up fine, straight into widescreen and seems to run really well. Which is nice.....

I believe you need 1.1.0.8 and 1.1.0.9.

To check your version open the Mission Editor then click on MISC and Credits.

 

 

To be honest though, I'd just download the full 1.1.0.9 version and install that using your DVD's key. No sense in patching, then patching then patching when you can just install once.

All of the above should be correct. The UK boxed version is 1.1.0.7.

 

However, I would strongly recommend just downloading the entire 1.1.0.9 install instead as patching can sometimes produce issues, which will then cause you to download the whole 0.9 anyway.
