metalnwood Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 Hi all, I have eyefinity with 3 monitors for my main view and I have another monitor in front with helios running. On the helios monitor I have the left and right mfcds. They are about 4.7" diagonal and for the most part do everything I need them to do at that size. Sometimes I want my TGP larger though. I know I can make a snap view on my main viewport to have a larger right mfcd but I prefer not to do that so my main viewport is still available as is. What I would really like to do is have a popup mfd that I can place on my helios screen that would be really easy to search for targets. I have spent an hour looking around the lua scripts and it looks like it could be possible to use the code running in the export script to resize and reposition my exported mfd - so it would go from a small one at the top right of my helios monitor to a larger one in the middle of my helios screen. This option is not certain and I will have to dig around a lot more to figure out if it can be done. The other option is that I create a second exported right mfcd and use the option to hide it, then make it only visible through lua calls when I want it. So, before I embark on all of this has anyone else tried this, how did it go? Any dead ends, find its not possible? Thanks!
