I have the Level-D 767 for FSX, and one of it's features is the ability to click the upper left corner of the FMC to make all keyboard inputs go straight to the FMC. This temporarily turns off any hotkeys, so you can directly type your input into the FMC, making input of waypoints, flap settings, runway heading a snap(wish the PMDG planes had this).

 

I would like to see something like this for the A-10's CDU and the Ka-50's INU(I think that's the right system). Would make inserting JTAC's waypoints while in flight a little easier. Not necessarily a major feature, but the 767 has spoiled me. :P

You can already do this (BTW I think it's the PVI-800 or somethign for the Ka-50. I'll go RTFM :music_whistling:), you go into options then bind the CDU keys to "Shift F" for "F" for example. I did it and it works great although takes a while. Default for A-10 is RWIN+letter key.

I'll have to try that out now! Although it would still be simpler if there was just a toggle.
