Which version did you purchase (upgrade at 20 dollars, or full at 40 dollars), and did you download the appropriate installer for that? (Each has their own isntaller and license keys purchased for one does not work with the other.)

Downloaded but ....

 

I paid for the BS2 download costing $39.99. The link that I received took me to BS1. I downloaded the bs2 file sharing files and attempted to use the serial I was given but it keeps failing.

 

When I attempted to download the files independently i managed the first 3 but when it came to the fourth one it kept asking for login and password.

 

Can someone advise what to do to resolve issues.

You having purchased for 40 dollars indicates the "full" version (that is, it won't check for BS1). Are you certain that you downloaded that version? If you download the "Upgrade" version, the serial will not work.

I downloaded this one HERE using the bottom one for torrent (DCS_BS2_EN.torrent but the serial is not working with it.

 

Do I need to download bs1 install it and then download bs2 ontop of it?

Have you doublechecked that you are using the proper serial number, and not a transaction ID or similar number?

I am beginning to think that I have been given a link to BS1 costing $19.99 instead of BS2 at $39.99. The file size for the link is 2 gigs whilst the bs2 appears to be 4 gigs. I have sent the error file to the company so hopefully they will be able to advise. I believe I paid for the BS 2 game when I purchased it online

I would have expected that BS2 AND BS2 Upgrade would be only ones available since they both supercede the earlier one.

They don't really, since BS1 has compatibility with FC2, but BS2 does not.
