TkER Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 I have tryed to modify HDR shader on DCS A10C 1.1.1.0 and Black Shark 2 But modify ..\Bazar\shaders\PostMotionEffect\HDR\hdr.fx have no effects on simulator, but on prevision version 1.1.0.9 ,work well. Deleting the file and run the simulator, have no issue, and the game run default hdr anyway. I think on new patch, the HDR file is on another position, but i can't find it Everyone can help me ? Thanks.
Nate--IRL-- Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 What is it you are trying to achieve? HDR is a bit more complicated than just editing the HDR.fx Nate Ka-50 AutoPilot/stabilisation system description and operation by IvanK- Essential Reading
TkER Posted November 11, 2011 Author Posted November 11, 2011 I have made it for 1.1.0.9 and it's all ready, but with new patch not activate the file. I need only the new path of hdr file. Or where is located the code, for import my changes. Thanks.
Nate--IRL-- Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 As I said, if I know what you trying to do to the HDR I might be able to help. HDR.fx is still in the same place, however changing HDR is not that simple. Post your mod and I'll take a look at it. Nate Nate I have all ready and my hdr.fx work perfect with 1.1.0.9, on new patch the file is on the same position of old patch, but is not used by simulator, the problem is not file making, is find new file position....
Nate--IRL-- Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 OK bit of a lack of communication :) HDR.fx is not the only file that controls HDR. Depending on the changes you are trying to make try these after adding in your HDR.fx....... Delete 72d3a1dc29433e5d2c32fa33bbbe045e.fxo in X:\DCS A-10C\Bazar\shaders\fxo and change this section of graphics.cfg in X:\DCS A-10C\Config PrecompiledEffects { mode = "USE_PRECOMPILED_EFFECTS_FOR_UNCHANGED_FILES"; } That may or may not work depending on the changes you've made to HDR.fx Nate Ka-50 AutoPilot/stabilisation system description and operation by IvanK- Essential Reading

But not need to delete precompiled shaders, only need change of graphics.cfg This also work with modified high.lua and other file. Very big thanks

TkER Posted November 11, 2011 Author Posted November 11, 2011 I have special textures for the game, that change all 4 season and I need different color for HDR, or the textures is to much washed out. Now is good. Sorry, but I can't post screenshots.
