This regards BS 1.0.2.

I am experiencing graphical errors and some of the triggers in the campaign are not working correctly and I think that through my own tinkering in the DCS BS config files, I may have caused these problems.

I would like to un-install the game and download a fresh BS 1.0.2 and re install it.

To do this would I have to deactivate the old install and activate the new install, bearing in mind I have made no hardware changes to my PC?

No need to deactivate the software if your just reinstalling, the key will remain in the registry.
