cypher_142 Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 Now here is my problem, i cannot communicate with the ground crew at all. I have been searching the forum for about 2 hours came across warriorX's video which had helped me in the past but no joy. I have created a simple free flight mission where you just start on the runway, no ordinance. however when i try to contact the ground crew to get some weapons i get no response. I rotate the dial from VHF to INT then use the Mic Switch to select interphone then select F8 ETC. Am i doing something wrong here ? i have attached a track which shows i can communicate with the tower but not the ground crew. Revelation Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 Make sure you have set the correct frequency on the radio for the tower at the Airfield you are at. You also need to be sure that you are in an area that supports rearming and refuelling. Sorry, but I can't view your track right now, so if you have done the above then hopefully someone who can watch your track right now can help you out. Can you advise the the correct area with an airport for this to happen? , i know in the track i am on the runway, but i have tried this during a ramp start aswell. Maybe i should add, i had no problem with the previous version 1.1.0.9, i would do the same thing and it would work unless something has changed ? ronht Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 The airfield you are on needs to have some friendly ground troops placed on it so it is controled by your coalition. If the airfield is classified as "neutral" in the F10 view, you won't be able to get a response from the ground crew there. 1
