Starting form runway, cold start, 9 knots of wind, bad weather.

all choper is cold ! only batt 1 and 2 are on, nothing else

parking brake, joystick centered, no input,

Just release rotor brake :

rotor will turn at something between 30 to 45 RPM !!!!!

Just re press rotor brake :

blades slowing down...

then bumping up and down with elasticity...

then cross between up and down ... and finally broke....

I don't think it is realist !!!!

made at start from STP Dragon's Training missions to test the missions...

It seems to be a change/differnece between v1.0.2 and v2.0.

In v1.0.2 the wind wasn't that effective like now in v2.0.

I will fix this in my mission.

Yepp, the difference is enormous.

However, rotor clashing can be avoided by proper timing. You'd have to release the brake and instantly start the first engine, this usually suffices.

To me, the gusts are most difficult to deal with. They make the Shark bounce and with the default "Ramp Trim" ("slightly" backwards) its nose will pitch up pretty easy (solution here: manually change trim to "slightly" forward).

All in all, this mission is way more difficult to deal with in BS 2 while it becomes a charm in BS 1 :D

The wind is 39 knots, not 9 knots. The gusts are up to about 58 knots. This is WELL outside of permissible wind values for even starting the aircraft, and the effects of it in game are fairly realistic.

Permissible wind values 4tl! ;) Did you manage to take off? Last time I tried, I was stupid enough to taxi - didn't work too well ;)

Hmm... maybe due to my poor french? ;)

(However, I never complained, instead I enjoy this environment as a challenge :P)

because I missread the wind value, thought it was only 9 knots and not 39 ! and with 9 knots such effect was not realisitic... sorry !

and the possiblility of a bug in the mission could exist...

and with jpg of outside view it is more easy to understand for other people...
