jvanes Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 Hi there, I gotta question about installing DCS A-10 on a second pc just for planning missions. I am in the luxury position of having a simpit wich flies very nice but for planning missions it is not that good. 3H2Go setup, laying slight back and a keyboard wich almost stands verticaly is not comfortable for planning. So i thought: What if i install DCS on a second pc just for planning, will it hurt my activation? Regards, Johan [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
PeterP Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 (edited) No problem to do this - just don't activate the copy! Mission editor use on 2nd PC I even use a HDD in the Lan to save the edited mission - and I can straight away load it up at the Sim-PC after I saved it with the Eee-Pc. The mission editor does not require a key to run. You would not be able to use the 'fly' button but you can edit missions all day long. Just install the game but don't ever start a mission and only adjust settings and use the ME and you are good to go. I have it installed but not played on my laptop for exactly that reason. Me too! Have DCS 1.1.0.9 installed on my Eee-Pc (!! Atom processor) with Win7 only for mission editing. ...took about 30min to install(from an external drive)... - OK... it's not as fast as on my sim-computer ,but it runs fine!
