Skkuda Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 Hi. Are there all the missions in the directory compatible with BS2? or they need to be updated by his creators? Thanks! STP Dragon Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 The missions are technically compatible. I'm not sure if you are able to just load it and play it but you can open it in the editor, save it and play it. BUT!!! There are a loooooot of changes for the A.I., the holdingtimes, the triggers etc. I'm sure that 90% of the missions will not work as they did before. All the creators have to test the missions and rework them if something is going wrong. E.g. an A.I. helo have a complete new behaviour now and needs readjustments. Convoy's will act a other way if they get attacked. There are new triggers and maybe you can do something a better way than before... Grimes Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 Unless the mission is incredibly simple, you will likely get some errors if you tried to just play it right off the bat. At the very least open a mission up in the editor and re-save it. This way you will find out if there are any errors. The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world. Luigi Gorgonzola Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 Anyone tried to run a BS2 mission in BS1 to see what's happening? Just for fun and curiousity...
Grimes Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 BS2 to BS1 doesn't work. Doing so results in several errors, the mission fails to open, and possibly a game crash. yureg Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 What about the compatibility between A-10c and BS2? Have not BS2 or A-10c yet. Am I right in thinking that after editing a A-10c mission (replace a-10c aircraft with black shark 2; adjustment of speed and payload and hight, etc ) Black Shark 2 can fly also a A-10C-mission or vice versa?
Luigi Gorgonzola Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 You can fly co-op missions and it doesn't matter if the server hosting the mission is an A-10-C or a BS 2 server. I don't know about the compability of single player missions, though.
