Invisible SA-7?

was playing some online last night and myself and 2 other guys were hunting down a SA-7 and the host found it, called out the cords and i slew over to the area with the tgp and....nothing...just dirt. He then lased the target and I went into LSS and the laser locked it up still dirt. My question is has anybody else run into this problem? He finally got it with a mav and I saw the explosion and the sim showed a kill but in my view only dirt was blown up.

I wasn't aware the sim had the SA-7 in it. Perhaps you mean SA-6?

 

Anyway, it sounds like an instance of some kind of lag/desynchronization. You want the guy with the most bandwidth to host, he needs port 10308 open.

copy that, it prob was a sa-6, whats strange is I could see every other vehicle on the airfield, trucks, radar, seems like everything else but the sam. A lag/desync issues sounds about right I was just wondering how often this happens, this super dirt camo :)

I had something like this in BS, turned out to be a faulty install. Tried reinstall? Unless of course if the SA-6 is visible to you in SP, then it's something else:)
