Panels as vector-files ?!

Hi all

I found the great panels from reactorone. But if I understand it right, this panels are just for printing them out.

A friend of mine owns a cnc and is willing to make me the panels in black plexiglass, but he needs vector graphics from the paneld for his cnc. I am not very familiar with this ... but it would be great if someone already has this kind of files. It would safe many many hours of work to make this files out of reactorone´s pdf-files.

 

Any help is much apprechiated.

Hi Tom,

 

Here you have an EPS file, normally your friend must be able to use it on his CNC.

 

Otherwise it asks for additional information.

Thank you very much reactorone!!

 

Today I get a mail from my friend ... he is able to use the delivered EPS-Files on his CNC.

 

He made a first try in plexiglas and all he wrote (via email) is:

You will be surprised !! :thumbup:

 

So next week I will get the 3 sheets of plexiglas from him and look for usable switches.

 

Looking forward for this ! I will post a pic from the first try !!

Hehe .. today I got a first muster from the guy with the laser CNC ... looks great !

The material is kind of white , thin plexiglas coated with a black layer. If lasered, the white is been seen. Its very thin and comes as a sticker which might be brought up on a MDF or plexiglas.

 

Today I orderered a bunch of switches to try around. Seems that things are on a good way.
