FreeTrack video stream delay

Hey,

I recently started using FreeTrack and I'm having this weird delay problem. When I start FreeTrack its quick and responsive (30 FPS @ 640x480 multiplied x4 to 120 FPS) but after a minute or so the delay slowly builds up to about 1 second. I have auto-exposure off, the problem is not with the webcam's FPS (the fps indicator is still at 30 x4 = 120) but the stream itself seems to lag behind my actual head movement (it's very visible when i make a quick head movement). I can see the video feed being delayed. But when I start the stream in my webcam application its fine, no delay at all (I tried running it for few minutes and no delay what so ever). Also, in FreeTrack when I stop and then start the stream again its fine for about another minute. I tried running it as administrator and setting high priority to freetrack.exe process but it didn't help, the delay is still there.

 

EDIT : Sorry, I think I got it. After experimenting with all settings I discovered that when I manually set the actual webcam FPS to 60 (even that it has only 30) and multiplier to 2x it helps a lot.

Yes there's a little delay in my system too.

And as your, I set "Multiplier" to "2" and got faster response. :thumbup:
