MemphisBelle Posted February 20, 2012 Posted February 20, 2012 No, but obviously they cannot take any other action with it than to ask for clarification. OK, if they reply and signal the user about the notification about the reported issue and asking them to clarify their issues, then it´s ok., if they don´t so and leave the user alone withouit any comment, then it´s bad. The support system might need some bugfixing if a new assigned ticket will end up as "unreadable". Only thing one can do is to fill out the form and hit the send button. the rest is up on the supporter side BlackSharkDen | BSD Discord | DCS Tutorial Collection
EtherealN Posted February 20, 2012 Posted February 20, 2012 It is not a question of unreadable reports, it is a question of the user supplying relevant information on the problem. :) Not to say anything bad about users, its just that not everyone can be computer nerds so they might not know at first how to supply the required information. EtherealN Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 Activation requests? You mean requests to activate a product on a given computer? That is automated, not human intervention, there should not be any response time at all. If you mean license key refills (applicable only to FC1, FC2 and BS1), no, I don't know, but I expect it to vary depending on how many are entering support tickets at the given time. MemphisBelle Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 (edited) Yes, I am just talking about refilling of BS1 activations. I used the support ticket three days ago and no response yet, a simple notification that my request in just in progress and an proper reply might take a few days longer can actually been expected. Or is there just one guy responsible for the support ticket system? Edited February 21, 2012 by MemphisBelle BlackSharkDen | BSD Discord | DCS Tutorial Collection
MemphisBelle Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=67025 Do I understand that right that I have to wait a month and by that I will have the posibility to activate the Game again? Does that mean the normal end of a month and beginning of the new one? or does that mean the timepsan of roundabout 30 day<s to wait until one can get an activation again? EtherealN Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 As mentioned, manual refills are only relevant to FC1, FC2 and BS1. For A-10C and BS2 there is the new system, where 30 days after you spend your last activation you are automatically assigned a new activation. Again, note that this does not apply to BS1, where manual intervention is required. For A-10C and BS2, note that it is expenditure of that last activation that is required - not requesting it or needing it. 30 days after initiating the activation, you'll get your new one. This can be a problem if you find yourself re-activating several times in the same week, but note that you can re-use activations through using the deactivation feature. (This feature is to help avoid sharing of license keys.) MemphisBelle Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 again, I am talking of BS1 NOT BS2. So I have to create a ticket to become my activation refilled. I did that 4days ago...no response yet....pitty! BlackSharkDen | BSD Discord | DCS Tutorial Collection
EtherealN Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 I know you are talking about BS1, that's why I explained that the link you posted applies to BS2 and A-10C. (And how it works for future reference.) Feel free to PM me your ticket number and I can see if I can make an inquiry, but I am currently abroad and have only my travel kit and hotel connections, so I cannot guarantee when I'd be able to check up on the status of things.
